About You MEME

I got this from Jade at Life in Holland who got it from JoLynne
Here are the rules for this meme.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

Thanks for playing along. I look forward to hearing from you.

My memory of you is our first meeting at the chapter event at the AA center. Although we had talked on the phone tons of times we had never actually met. After spending the day with you face to face I told Earl that you and I were going to be friends even after our Association jobs went away...I was right! By the way, we need to do lunch!

Let's see there was that two years we drank coffee together three days a week, and twice on holidays.

There was watching the sun go down on the desert before eating sushi.

And, the 20 pound bar of chocolate and the jumbo box of Ding-Dongs you bought in a weak moment.

Visiting you in the hospital after you had JuJu, although you don't remember that....

Hmmm...let's see...Between the three towns I have lived and the three houses you have lived in...there are LOTS of memories!

OK, at the house in Kendallwood when you and I would sit on the stairs with our baby dolls and bibles and pretend we were mommies in church. Of course the babies would cry and we would have to walk to the back. :) I love and miss you!

Okay - I'm way late on this, and probably won't get time for a couple of days to update my blog, but here goes:

How can I possibly forget the phone call (which I've referenced before) I had with you during the Philanthropy Day planning when I said, "Really, I think I'm going crazy. No, really." You nervously laughed and yet (which is why I told you) understood. Cranking out a power point presentation for a mere 500 as I was planning my daughter's first birthday, baptism, and a fall CCS event for 300 nearly pushed me over the edge. Through it all, you made made me laugh and you also carried a huge load, too. I'll NEVER forget that, Lara!
